GOLF AND LODGING POLICIES
Policies of the Myrtle Beach Golf Course Owners Association and Classic Golf Getaways
Classic Golf Getaways provides golf vacations to groups of one or more individuals. All Members of a group agree to abide by the following policies:

BOOKING AND CHANGING RESERVATIONS:
The Group Leader (customer) is the point of contact between Classic Golf Getaways and the individuals of his group and is responsible for informing the group of all reservation and policy information regarding the package. All reservations are made in the Group Leaders’ name, and he/she is the only person who can modify or cancel the reservations.

GOLF PACKAGE PAYMENT POLICY:
CLASSIC GOLF GETAWAYS IS AN INDEPENDENT WHOLESALER; THEREFORE, PAYMENT FOR GOLF PACKAGES MUST BE PAID DIRECTLY TO CLASSIC GOLF GETAWAYS. THE PHONE NUMBERS AND ADDRESS FOR PAYMENTS ARE INCLUDED IN THIS POLICY AND ON THE RESERVATION CONFIRMATION.
DEPOSITS MUST BE PAID WITHIN 7 DAYS OF BOOKING, AND ALL PACKAGES MUST BE PAID IN FULL AT LEAST 14 DAYS PRIOR TO ARRIVAL (groups larger than 8 may require payment 30 days prior to arrival).

MEANS OF PAYMENT ACCEPTED BY CLASSIC GOLF GETAWAYS:
Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Personal & Business Checks, and Money Orders.

CANCELLATION POLICY:
Our goal is to provide you an excellent golf vacation, and to keep you as a customer year after year. We do not like to charge cancellation fees, but our wholesale contracts obligate us to pay for reservations that are cancelled on short notice. We do not intend to profit from cancellations, and we will always attempt to minimize cancellation fees for our customers. Cancellation charges will apply as follows for parties of 8 or less. The cancellation policy is more restrictive for groups of 8 or more - please call for more information.

31 Days or More:
No cancellation fee charged
16 to 30 Days: $50.00 per person
8 to 15 Days: $100.00 per person
7 Days or Less: Up to 100% of the Package Price

If the customer does not pay the balance of the package price by the prescribed date, Classic Golf Getaways reserves the right to cancel the booking, and in such cases the customer will also forfeit all monies paid. Unused portions of the vacation are non-refundable. We will never cancel a package without attempting to contact the Group Leader. Cancellation fees may differ for individuals who “drop out” of a group. In addition, if somebody drops out of a package a “per person” price of the package may change, thereby impacting the remaining members of the group. These penalties will be determined on an individual basis after Classic Golf Getaways confers with the Group Leader.

DAMAGE TO PROPERTY/LOST OR STOLEN PROPETY/INJURIES TO INDIVIDUALS:
Individuals are responsible for repairs or replacement of property damaged during the course of the package. This includes, but is not limited to, lodging units, golf courses, and any other goods leased or purchased through Classic Golf Getaways. Additionally, Classic Golf Getaways is not responsible for lost or stolen property, or injuries incurred during the course of the package.

OTHER POLICIES AND FAQs:

ARE THERE LINENS IN MY CONDO?
All golf packages come with a linen pack, which includes clean linens and towels for your stay. Daily towel service may be available for an additional fee. Daily maid service is included when lodging at a hotel.

IS THERE MAID SERVICE EVERY DAY?
Daily maid and towel service is not provided at villas (condos) unless requested. This service is available for an additional fee. Daily maid service is included when lodging at a hotel.

WHAT IS CHECK-IN TIME; WHAT IS CHECKOUT TIME?
Check-in time is 3 p.m. Checkout time is 11 a.m. These times are strictly enforced. If a group is late to check out, an additional one-day charge is processed. REQUESTS FOR EARLY CHECK-IN MUST BE COORDINATED THROUGH CLASSIC GOLF GETAWAYS. LATE CHECKOUTS ARE RARELY PERMITTED.

WILL THE “PER PERSON” PRICE OF MY PACKAGE CHANGE IF THE ORIGINAL NUMBER OF PEOPLE CHANGES?
The “per person” price of your package will change if the number of people in you group changes, as rates are based on occupancy. Please contact us so that adjustments can be made.

WHY DO WE HAVE TO PAY FOR OUR PACKAGE 14 DAYS PRIOR TO OUR ARRIVAL?
Prior payment is required to reserve lodging and tee times in advance. When lodging and tee times are made on your behalf, we are obligated to make payment prior to your arrival. If you decide to cancel on short notice, they will charge us whether or not you use your lodging and tee times.

WHAT IF THERE IS A FROST DELAY?
Walking on grass which has frost will severely damage the grass plant, so golf courses will delay the start of play until the frost is gone. In cases of frost delay, your tee time is usually moved back in sequence. If you cannot play all 18 holes, you may ask the course for a rain check (usually 9 hole rain checks are issued if you do not make the turn). Issuing rain checks is at the discretion of the course.

WHAT IF THERE IS BAD WEATHER WHEN I’M SCHEDULED TO PLAY?
If weather should cause the course to close, it is the courses discretion to issue refunds or issue rain checks but you must go to the Pro Shop to determine the course policy. If you are due a refund, Classic Golf Getaways will send the amount to you after the course has refunded Classic Golf Getaways. Rain checks can be used on future packages, and are generally good for one year. Policies vary by course and NO REFUNDS WILL BE GIVEN FOR LODGING.

WHAT IF I WANT TO CHANGE MY TEE-TIME?
All requests for tee-time changes must be made by the Group Leader and coordinated through Classic Golf Getaways.

WHAT IS THE DRESS CODE?
All courses require non-metal spikes and proper golf attire, i.e. collared shirts for men and NO jeans, denim or tee shirts.

LODGING MAINTENANCE OR HOUSEKEEPING PROBLEMS
If you are staying at a Condo/Hotel please call front desk to report any problems.

CHECKING OUT
Please leave the keys to the unit on the kitchen counter and LOCK THE DOOR BEHIND YOU when you leave. Everyone staying at a hotel is required to check out at the front desk. Any incidental charges incurred during your stay (phone calls, meals, etc.) must be paid at checkout.
